Headphone Amp, Vinyl and the Nait3

I'm thinking of getting a headphone set-up and am wondering if my turntable with on-board phono boards in my nait3 can produce a signal for a headphone amp?

I'll have two sources (cd and tt). If i just plug a headphone amp into the tape out on my nait3 will i get a signal from my cd player and tt?

Yep its standard to connect a headphone amp using the tape in/out loops. And yes you will get both cd and tt signal - depending on which you select from the nait - like you would for speaker output. The mute button should only affect the speaker output not tape loops.
