Just heard absolutely stunning version of Blue Nile's 'Let's Go Out Tonight' - different version than that from Hats LP.
Any ideas where the track's available from?

There is a version on Craig Armstrong's "Space Between Us" Album.

As an aside the Blue Nile vocalist features on two tracks on the Peter Gabriel OVO album-the Dome musical soundtrack. I've temporarily forgotten his name! Both are good tracks and his voice is sublime. This serves to make the wait for a new Blue Nile album all the more agonising.

I think Space Between Us is a great album. I have listened to it many many times.
Highly recommended.

I have a fantastic version of 'Easter parade' as a duet between Paul Buchanan and Rickie Lee Jones on a B side to an early 12 inch. Really stripped back and intense. Not available on CD methinks

What's happening?
With the Nile? I saw them on the '97 tour, they were fantastic, even the tracks from "Peace At ast" (which I didn't rate an eigth as highly as the first two LPs) were superb. Also saw them at the Dominion in London in 1990 - grown men were weeping.
Alongside Kraftwerk, the Nile must be the least productive act of all time! Anyone know of any new LPs in the pipeline?

Check out the new Joe Cocker album theres a track on there "Midnight Without You" written by P Buchanan - probably the closest you'll get to a BNile track 4 a while
