Black Burndy tape marking

Good morning

Might be a stupid question...
Where should that tape be, close to the CDX or
close to the XPS. Naim says close to the source..
(that would be CDX), on the other hand tape is
marked with XPS......

What's the general philosophy? Is it always collar nearer to the source? So 52/SC would be nearest to the 52? Is this true also for SNAICs?

yeh the philosophy is the same for Snaic 4 and 5.
