Can anyone tell me why the 'music room'
thread was first purged and then removed please?

I asked Richard to delete it, as it was useless. No real conversations ensued.

Hi mike. I wondered why it had been edited first and i wasn't aware a person could request a deletion of a thread. Odd indeed.

It wasn't odd....two members started insulting each other in breach of forum rules, Richard edited it and then deleted it as it was clear it was going nowhere and adding no value to the forum.

A sensible piece of moderation and a good decision IMO.

Hi Jim. Agree that it's a bit tacky to fling insults around but i'm not so sure it's a good idea to wipe them, if only because a fellow should be given the opportunity (as it were) to 'reflect' upon his previous explosions. It may perhaps encourage a lighter touch next time the BP rises. Winker

I've been making a lot of mistakes lately, posting on topics people evidently are not interested in. I think this is in the process of correcting itself.
