Think my favourite track was 'A Man needs a Maid' which i'm normally not that bothered about. He played part of it on a Wurlitzer organ thing which made it sound like a cross between 'oh I do like to be beside the seaside' and something from a Hammer Horror film. Bloody genius.

Glad y'all had a great time! Two sets sounds wonderful.
As for me, am I jealous? A hint of green eyed monster?
Well perhaps a little bit ......

He opened a new venue in Los Angeles with the tour, maybe not first of his shows. I couldn't afford the ticket prices but teh review was really wonderful. He's a great old timer, still relevant.

I went to the Hammersmith gig last night, which has leapt into my top ten concerts of all time.
A peerless acoustic set (apart from the Las Vegas-style appplauding from the crowd a few notes into each song - didn't we used to take the piss out of this when we were young?), followed by a master class in power guitar heroics afterwards - he's lost nothing with the years.
And long too - going a long way to make £75 for a ticket good value...though in all honesty I'd have paid more.
I must admit I thought Peggy's little set to open was a bit slight, the only really memorable song being that one where the roadie came on to play that twangy guitar.
Still, nearly a four hour concert during which I lost count of the times the hairs on the back of my neck stood up, with the only disappointment being no Hurricane. Maybe next time...

I had a friend who did a gig tour of the US including this one. Wonderful gig apparently.

I went on both nights of the Manchester dates yesterday and 11th. It was interesting seeing Neil twice on consecutive days.He was better yesterday than the the 11th. The differences on the 12th were he played a different set list, talked to the audience all the way through, telling stories and joked more, on the track No Hidden Path he extended the end with a wonderful 4 minute guitar solo that even made bass guitarist Rick Rosas punch the air laughing (if you've seen Rick, you'll know this means something) and came back for two encores (instead of the 11th's one) with Tonight's The Night.
Absolutely wonderful concert both nights.
I took some pics (which were very, difficult to get due to low lighting and the keen security guys.
