Great comebacks

What do you think are unusually good career revivals from the grave:

Here are a few that came to my mind (and that I like):

Gary Numan: Pure (moody and scary, stellar production)
Oasis: Don't believe the truth (they have found some tunes!)
Johnny Cash: American series (thanks to Rick Rubin)

Lets see what happens when Neil Diamond comeback by Rick Rubin is released.

Any others...

Syd Barrett --- oh no that was just wishful thinking on my part.

All the bloody Nick Drake outtakes stuff they keep dredging up.

As Loudon Wainwright said a good plane crash does wonders for a career.

Son Volt - Okemah and the Melody of Riot. Released 7 years after Wide Swing Tremolo. Only Jar Farrer left from the original line up but still better than any of his solo stuff released in between.

Rick Astley has made a comeback. I'm not saying it's a great thing. Perhaps it's a need to perform. Maybe he's strapped for cash.

Steely Dans last two studio albums are more than twenty years after the previous one. Both are much better albums than I could have hoped for after so long.

Blood on the Tracks after 5 years of very weak albums from Dylan.
