Probably will be split along age lines,
but is it too much to expect, on a forum, full sentences ?

Is our purpose here communication of ideas or expedience ?

I struggle with the English version of English at times (I use my dictionary a lot), but when I look up something like DA, all I get is dumb-ass....... oh, wait a minute, maybe I get it now.

DTP or is that "." ?

Longingly seconded. Clarity above all.

Except perhaps interesting. Both now....

Wouldn't have happened in my day, these young whipper snappers, abreviating everything and this initialised way of speaking.
Proper standards used to be kept.

I suspect you are younger than I, if not I appologise. My illustration of TTFN is actually 50 or more years old, so initiallised talk is not new either.

Actually BigH i should have put a loud laugh sign on my post. I love silliness in all it's forms and asking for less initial type things was bound to suffer the indignity it did. But it does make me chortle. Big Grin
