Posted by: speffy on 29 January 2010

Hi !
I would like to use my nait 5 as a power amp in my 5.1 system. Im a little bit confused how i should do with the link plug at the back.
Should i remove it and dont use it at all if I want to use my nait as a power amp ?
Now its linked between Input and Signal B Out.

I hope anyone can help me out!

Take out the long link and connect to the Input. That is what seems logical, of course as usual the set-up you want is not shown in the manual.

Unless Richard comes to the rescue I'd e-mail to HQ,link on the Main Website, tell them what you want to do and what you want to connect.

I would agree, the mains lead would also need to be plugged in of course.

Speffy, you can do it the way you have done already, or you can use the AV input set to Unity gain.

Now I connect my nait 5 to my receiver.
4 pin DIN-RCA between Input on nait to pre-out on my receiver. Nac5 from nait to my RX8 speakers.

It works but there are no green light from my nait anymore, should it be like that ?
