Acoustic Guitar Gigs - Antonio Forcione et al

The West End Centre in Aldershot (http://www.westendcentre.co.uk)have their new acoustic guitar season kicking off on Friday 31st Oct with Clive Carroll (http://www.clivecarrol.co.uk) well worth a listen if you haven't heard him before.
The season continues with Antonio Forcione (http://www.antonioforcione.com) on Fri 14th Nov, Dick Gaughan (http://www.dickgaughan.com) on Fri 28th Nov, Glenn Tilbrook on Fri 5th Dec and on sat 13 Dec Johnny Dickinson and Jim Condie round it all off.

Ticket prices vary from £7.50 to £12 so it won't break the bank. And if you haven't been to the West End Centre before you are in for a treat - the venue has a high degree of intimacy.

I agree as a regular attender, looking forward to Forcione.

Saegull and I saw Jan Ackerman, sold out and excellent there.

Can also recommend the Comedy Club - second sunday in the month.

Bert Jansch, surely one of THE acoustic Guitarists celebrates his 60th birthday with a bash at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on the sothbank on Nov 8th. His guests include Johnny Marr, Bernard Butler, no slouches on guitar themselves, oh and the lovely Hope Sandoval from "Mazzy Star". It'd be nice to see Bert sell out the QEH.
