what slim tall modern looking speakers would anyone recommend for use with my N-VI,am looking for surround set-up + sub, can't afford N-Sats wife hates them anyway, am using some Mks at the moment, 3 x 17s pair of K4 tripoles and a Vx-100 Sub, any suggestions so i can find them and have an audition, wife likes the look of the audica ones, but don't know anything about them ?

I am using a Proac CC2 centre, Proac Response D15 fronts and Quad Lite rears with a MJ accoustics Pro-50 Sub. The setup works really well. The timing of the Proac's is superb and they often appear on ebay for reasonable cost.
To test the system, try the 'House of Flying Daggers' DVD, the film is a truly stunning feast of sound and colour for the n-Vi

Hi John. If your wife can handle speakers a little bigger than the Audicas then i heartily reccomend two pairs of Rega's RS1's,(easy for the N-Vi to drive and mighty fine speakers to boot),R-Vox centre and the best sub you can afford.
If your room isn't enormous then the B&W PV1 is good and fast.Otherwise the only other small sub that i have heard was the mj Acoustics in the above reply. Very good indeed i thought and fast enough for the Rega's.
Good luck.

Thanks for the replys. wife has since bought a new av stand, so my fujitsu panel and speakers are now in the centre of the wall and not in the corner, she says they sound better now, so will stick with them for the time being
