I know it break's certain rules in what some people call music but hell yeah, this stuff sounds is sounding awsome!!!! i've been into it from the start and it sounds mighty fine, especially through the naim. What a rude boy man....

Has his sound changed much over the last ten years. I loved the 'Logical Progression' albums in the 90's, but when I tried one recently it did sound very much of its time.
I did think that his rhythm work was fantastic, and combined with a very melodic foreground it sounded very different from the kind of jerky drum 'n' bass associated with a lot of club music.

Try Klute's new album Music For Prophet (great title) for me him and Calibre produce the best of the liquid d'n'b vibe, I haven't picked it up yet myself but I've never been disappointed in a Klute or Calibre album yet. Must grab a listen of that new Ltj Bukem album though. Also Stephen you played some Teebee lately, have you got his Eyes Through a Scorpion album because thats a cracker as well.

Hi Dean,
Cheers for the pointer, no i have not heard that Teebee album yet, no doubt i will try to pick it up. Cheers! Indeed there is some amazing stuff coming out of europe too!
Love Klute and Calibre also.
Another great up & coming artist i've recently discovered is Paul SG, he's just launched his own label and album.
Cut from the same cloth as LTJ and his associates...superb!
Regards, Steve

Actually its Through The Eyes Of A Scorpion DOH!, I'm rubbish with album titles I recognise them from their covers. I'll keep Paul SG in mind also I find most of the Hospital label great as well.

DnB from a live band (with lead vocalist), check out Shapeshifter (not to be confused with ShapeshifterS).
Search at Myspace for shapeshifterlive.
I've seen The 'shifter maybe 10 times now; great live band.

Tayla - Resolution. Still cranking this one out, never tire from it.
Although nothing recent from Tayla, his old stuff, in my view, is up there with the best of them even today.
I'm finding the young Paul SG (newly discovered artist for me) stuff rather refreshing, although his stuff still stick's with that unmistakable Bukem/Tayla of yesteryear.....Still bloody good though...

My favourite DnB artist? Big Bud. Soul tinged DnB with a reggae influence.

Yep, i love Big Bud, he's up there with rest of them.
More new blood - Furney. This guy is churning out some belters, especially when he collborates with other artists.
Another favourite for me also - Blu Mar Ten!
regards, Steve

I like it Dean...
One of the toughest most brutal DnB tracks i've heard, a true neck breaker through a naim set... Black Sun Empire - Arrakis.
Anyone want to run their speakers in?

Also check out: Raiden - Infection.
More of a liquid man myself though...
