Which cartridges satisfy Naim ears?

Good evening forum readers

I have not yet found anything writtten about Rega turntables (especially Planar3) and best maching cartridges. People spend so much time in discussing LP12s. Others (and not few) have Regas.
Is there a common sense for Rega owners too like LP12 owners have one? Or a more or less safe way to follow to get accurate sounding sistems in combination with Naim stuff? What can be done wrong (I do not mean owning a Rega in the first place)?
I have a lot of fun with my Sumiko Premier cartridge on my Rega Planar 3. It is very old and needs to be replaced. By what? I also use the Aikoh Fine Ceramics Turntable Sheet Asic-1 (would anybody knowing it share experiences?) and arm rewiring in a RB300.
There must be other MC cartridges that can do as well. My sistem behind the Planar 3 is CD2/72/140/IBLs. Have you any experience or advice to share? Thanks.
Regards
Casper

I have a Rega Elys which keeps me happy. Yes there are better cartridges but then again there are better turntables.

A Rega Super Bias Cartridge on my P3 Turntable through a Trichord Dino Phono Stage into my Nait 5 sticks as much of a grin on my face as my CD5. Lacks sophistication perhaps, but fun none-the-less Cool

Is Naim the only way forward?

Hi Casper

I've just had a new Dynavector DV 10x5 (admittedly in an LP12/Ittok); but I beleive that my dealer has fitted a few into Rega 3's.

It's a high output m/c and excellent v.f.m. at £250 in the UK.

I recently added the Dynavector DV 10x5 into my VPI tt. I agree with J.N. that it is an excellent VFM cartridge.

I recently added Dyna DV10x5 into Rega 3 with very good results. I agree with J.N. and MBM, very good VFM.

A friend recently went from the Super Elys to the Dyna DV10x5 on his P3. We both noticed a difference in the spacial qualities (wider?), more detail, and really prefered it to the S. Elys. It still had the punch of the mm also. One of the best cart deals around.

Hello there
sorry for getting back to you this late. I can notice a preferece in the Dyna DV10x5 out there.
I already considered this and the Sumiko Blue Point as well.
Thanks for letting me know of other P3 owners having fun with it.
For those who search detail I can highly recommend the Aikoh Ceramic Sheet. It pulled the curtain aside between audience and speakers.
Thanks for your comments.
regards
