Supernait & Arcam avr350 unity gain

Greetings, would any SN owners have this combo? I haven't been able to follow the instructions to get mine to work. Any tips much appreciated.

I don't have your items here - but, it should be pretty straight forward if you follow Naim's instructions, page E22 of the amplifier manual.
I'd be interested in your progress - I'm planning on the Arcam 600 or AV888 to fit in with my Naim system, so presuming/hoping this is straight forward....

You're right, it should be and I am following manual and I am usually pretty good at putting together and following IKEA flatpack instructions, maybe I need to know something about the Arcam.

There shouldn't be anything to 'know' about the the Arcam, as such....Should be a simple case of FR & FL pre-outs to the SN AV input....You have had leads made up for this yes...?

Leave aside the (very slight) additional hurdle of engaging Unity Gain.
Make sure you are using the correct signal out sockets on the arcam for Front L&R (sockets 24 & 25 in the arcam manual).
If you have been experimenting an RCA phono - 5 pin DIN lead to the SuperNait without success - you may have an incorrectly wired lead.
If phono - phono - just select AV (if the connection is made to these inputs) and turn the volume knob to your usual listening position for other inputs.
Experiment with the arcam until you succeed in getting sound through the SuperNait and your front speakers.
At this point - follow the instructions and set the SuperNait for Unity Gain - then use the arcam to set relative levels for multi-channel playback.

Excellent but I am finding myself getting more caught up with the sound equipment than the content of the programme!!
I have been using Credos up until now which I will use in a second system and they were excellent. The Liuto's are different but still integrate well. They seem more musical but I am having difficulty articulating what the exact difference is.

Oooo, we've had a change of wallpaper...
Was just interested in how a completely different centre speaker was fitting in with your Sonus Faber fronts...The normal 'advice' is the 3 fronts, at the least, are a timbrel match to one another, normally meaning the same manufacturer....
SF have a matching centre - have you tried it ?
I had my eye on the n-Cent myself (as well as Sats for rear), but was hanging back until I've firmed up my decision on fronts for this very reason - even if they end up being Naim, it's going to be a different tweeter...
Do you have the Liuto floorstanders or monitors ? Fine looking speakers...

The n Cent is fantastic-I won't part with it, voices are superb. The Liuto's are very eye catching and pleasing to look at from different angles and go very well with the large black screen that is the Sagem.
I was tempted to look at a SF front but the more I listen, the more I like this combo.
