Show us your toys.

As a relief from the boredom of elections & royal weddings how about a more cheerful post for pictures of our favourite big kids toys.
Here's my latest one, bought last summer and used lots since - but leaving me a lot less cash for other toy purchases:
And a few others from my personal toybox:
In both the above mine is the bike on the left.

It's empty so there would be no point...
Most people on here have more expensive hi-fi systems than that lot put together!

Nigel,
why do people have problems with success in this county?
Steve good for you!

And some of us just have Nait3s...
I like the motorhome. We thought of getting one but they are expensive if you never use them. Good that you are using yours.

When we were looking for the motorhome we initially were going to get a 2nd hand one and it was amazed to see the number of them that were 3 years old with 2000 miles on the clock. We wanted one with fixed bunk beds though and they're hard to find used so we ended up buying new. Lots of people think new motorhomes are silly money (and many of them are) but mines a budget van which cost less than the list price for a BMW 325i car.
Nigel seemed to think that my post was me doing a "loadsa money" but in fact all the bikes are at least 4 years old, and the motorhome represents a lifestyle decision instead of replacing my wife's 6.5 year old and my 4.5 year old cars in the next couple of years.

I bloody hope not!
That's not a motorcycle, it's a two wheeled SMART car.

Its bigger than a smart car! Unbelievably it looks safer than a smart car too.
I have no toys at the moment, they have been replaced with a son at Uni!

As an ex Lambretta owner(I still have enough bits to make one) I object to that!

What's a scooterist doing on this forum?
Posted on: 15 April 2005 by Stewart Platts
The BMW C1 certainly sounds like a scooter.

Not a car.
Not a scooter.
Not a motorcycle.
It's the future of personal transport.

I can think of a word for it - ugly.
Wouldn't mind a shot of one though, even if just to find out how the roof affects the handling. I'd have to wear a full-face helmet though to ensure I wasn't recognized as my biker street-cred would be at risk.

Segway and C1 at the traffic lights - whose gonna win??

Bought this a couple of weeks ago to keep me entertained on long journies. Pretty nice, it comes with the film Spiderman 2 (playing on it now).

I'm looking forward to get a play with one of those. Travelling in the motorhome entails some long drives and currently I keep my kids happy with a combination for a portable DVD player (bargain from Aldi) plus I've got an adaptor so they can play a PS2 while on the move.
The PSP looks interesting for the similar sort of thing but it'll depend on how easy it is to move films from DVD onto the format that it uses.
