Show us your toys.

As a relief from the boredom of elections & royal weddings how about a more cheerful post for pictures of our favourite big kids toys.

Here's my latest one, bought last summer and used lots since - but leaving me a lot less cash for other toy purchases:

And a few others from my personal toybox:

In both the above mine is the bike on the left.

Not as much as getting 'BMW C1' and 'really cool, stylish' in the same post Big Grin

that's just a rip off of 'The Quasar', originally built to a design by Malcolm Newell.

For my part I am rebuilding one of these in my basement Smile

Hey build me one, but not in green please.

Pray tell why your "toys" always involve personal transport? Have you no imagination? Confused

Boys will be boys. It's easier to get a motor passed the comptroller than say latvian pole dancer. At least (s)he can go out in/on most forms of transportation.

Well they are not really toys but here is one of our 'charges'.

Not a form of transport in the traditional sense, and it's not my toy....yet

Can you dispense some official chastisement please, and make them stop mocking BOR. They crossed a line...

Looks like a scooter to me too.

Thanks Andy - that evoked some fond memories.

I had some fun out of my 'Waterbucket' as the GT750 was affectionally known. Handled like a pig but had the grunt of a 4 stroke, and the zing of a 2 stroke (as you know).

Drank petrol too, as I recall. What a beast!

Happy carefee days.

I now have a somewhat more sensible BMW R1100S.

Andy Kirby,

Your owl is absolutely beautiful and by far the most impressive "toy" yet.

I love him/her.
Posted on: 16 April 2005 by Andy Kirby
Hi Count, that is Hoho, he is considerably smaller than his sister Bobo..... He likes nothing better than chasing the local cats around the garden... Smile

And the Kettle is coming along nicely, I can confirm that they deserve the nickname of 'flexi flyer' Frown but I could not resist a Z1 Reto ZRX1100 at the dealers a couple of years ago. Pulls like a train, stops on a dime and handles like a dream. I finally got Mrs Andy on the back and now she wants her own Eek BTW here in MA in the USofA you only need to answer a few questions about road safety, mostly about drinking and driving and they give you a 'permit' to ride any bike, as long as it is in the daylight and within the State!!!!
