PC calender

Posted by: BigH47 on 25 March 2007

Any one using and can recommend a PC calender /daily diary. I have a programme called Mini reminder but it only activates on start up, and I tend to leave the machine on for several days at a time this programme does not work so good.

I do not need anything too complicated but a daily activation and perhaps morning/afternoon/evening slots.

TIA

What about a web based option? If so then Google Calendar imho is well worth a look as it works well with other Google Products plus you can access it from any net connected pc.

I use the Google Calendar sometimes.

I have a friend who loves it - he had a work PC and a home PC, several different written calendars. He had double-booked himself several times in the past. But he can set up several Google Calendars (work, home, community organisation, etc) and they will notify him if he is double-booking himself. You can set it to email you a reminder at 5am too - that sort of thing.

Have a look at this. I use it on my laptop. Does not have timeslots as such but given that it sits as part of your desktop I do not find that poses a problem.
