Black is better

I appreciate that black SNAICS and Burndies for 52 (etc.) to Supercap (or flat/hi) are better having recently changed these. Excuse my ignorance but can the source to preamp interconnects be had in black, or are these and the Black SNAICS one and the same?

The current source to pre-amp interconnects are a slightly violet shade of grey. The older ones are grey.

I asked this question when I bought the CDX. The Black SNAIC refers to the amplifier component connectors. The grey/lavander connector provided with a new Naim source is up-to-date and not old stock.

Whether it is up-to-date, you will have to cross check to age of the player (and therefore its associated cable) with Naim.

When were the lavender interconnects introduced?
