Sainsburys have just launched their HomeEntertainment site and have mad opening offers. Top 40 DVD's are £12.50!!!

Sample prices from our beloved A&B Sound:
Spiderman: $25.88 = £10.36
Twin Peaks, The 1st Season: $74 = £29.49
Kalifornia: $15.97 = £6.36
At any rate, it seems "new bestsellers" are about 26 bucks and 2nd rate movies come in at 16 CDN.

Players can be picked up for $60. Progressive Scan players for $150. And if you fancy something rather good, there is always the Faroujda.
New releases discs are are $15.99 to $16.99 range, while the rather fabulous Criterion Collection comes in at $19 to $26 (depending on the title). You can pick-up some stuff for $7 or $8 put it tends to be crap.
Some titles are cheaper in the Uk. Fawlty Towers for example.
Newm release CDs are readily available for $10.99
