USB stick

If I download hi-res files (FLAC) and then transfer them to a USB memory stick, can I then just pop it into the HDX and play them? Do the files need to go into a special folder in the stick (e.g., "Music")?

yes plug it in, then go to browse-->music location-->USB and play. These files cannot be loaded onto the hard drive.

If your going to buy alot of hi-res just store them in your PC or on a NAS and just play them from there via ethernet connection.
