Can SL2 crossovers be used on SBLs?

Assuming Naim has upgraded the crossover maybe this is a worthwhile upgrade option for the SBL???

Going active with SBL's is such a step up--I can't believe the passive SL2's can be that much better that they can bridge this passive-->active gap--if so I'll forget source first forever.I'll sell up go to my old 42.5/110 and look for some NBL's(even better)
Having some old kit lying around and some idle fiddling time--really clarifies the source first theory--which gets confused when we try and compare the "amount" of improvement with each upgrade along the chain.
IMHO adding a Hi cap does more for music/enjoyment than swapping EPOS ES14 for SBL's
My partner would much prefer me to scrap the SBL's for the curvy SL2's rather then go 52--no can do I'm afraid.

T'would be interesting to cross reference with Blythe's experience on http://forums.naim-audio.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=67019385&f=48019385&m=7901955595 as he is currently home demoing the SL2s in an active system with an SBL SNAXO. He initially found the SL2s bass light, perhaps this would be the case with SL2 X-overs on SBLs. At least you can tweak a SNAXO

Chitty:

"But overall, there is so much information missing on the SBLs in comparison that you'll think they're broken......The treble alone is enough to convince any takers."

For double the price they should be that much better. When you say broken do you mean musically broken? or sonically missing some info?

I would also like to know how used DBLs (similar price) compare to the new SL2??? I know what DBLs sound like and the difference between DBLs and SBLs. To me the SBLs do not sound musically broken in comparison.
