Home dem essential
A pal of mine got a pair of Intro’s home for a dem not long ago, in short, they sounded awful compared to his resident Tukans. It’s not that the Intros are crap, just that they didn’t work in his room. The thing is, you’ll need to get a pair home to see if they float your boat.

Mathew !
I have had ES12 and now I am a very happy owner of Intro2 for two months and they are still getting better.
Intro is very much different, amplifier friendly, refined and better in any area in order to any Epos speaker, that's for sure.
Getting Epos is like getting Rega Planet instead of CD5, a budget compromis I would say.
I suggest you to get any version of Intros.
Good hunting,
Ozren

Hi!
Only you can tell if the Intro´s are better for you. A home dem is mandatory IMO.
Me? I wouldn´t swap my es 11´s for Intro´s, no way. ´

GUNNAR !
Did you ever heard Intro2 (at home)?
What things make Epos11 better than Intro2 from your point of view?

Ozren!
I have not compared them side by side at home.
Only shop dems.
I would not state that the es 11 are better than Intro 2. But they did not do it for me when demming them.
The es 11 seems though to work very well in my livingroom at my home.
After getting a new quality stand and a cdx, they perform amazingly good in my current set up and I have no plans of changing them before a better preamp with psu is in place.
But as I said in my previous post; IMO one really has to try the speaker at home with ones own gear. Not relying on anybody but one selfs opinion on what´s good or better.
The es 11´s are IMHo superbVFM and have the potential of getting a whole lot better in performance as you upgrade.

I recently aquired a pair of Intros(mk 1s), they are far superior to my friends Epos M12s(Creek remake of ES11/12s). I am not a Naim freak, using Linn frontend and amps (and Isobariks)..The Intros are superb for their price, I just got them in a deal and was suprised at how good they were. Give 'em a listen!
