How important are music and replay, taken together?

I am finding that replay has equal importance with music, as much expression can be obscured by your choice in replay.

For me, this is becoming my chief means for having a musical experience, listening to CDs.

no no no....i still like. i have a friend with some 2/3's, but it's paired with some old gear that makes it sound very congested....i was hoping somebody would let him know i was poking fun.
as for spendors, they're fine. i've just moved on. I need more clarity, more realism that they can't give. but that's me...i don't play trumpet.

Soundsreal, it's interesting you make a virtue of not playing a musical instrument. But that's not why I'm writing you back. I'm writing because I am curious to see if anything I write might encourage you to say something that directly relates to the topic of this thread. Nothing stands in your way, as I have eliminated any of my analogies that you don't get.

Why not try posting an observation about the topic of the thread. We might actually have a conversation. That would be a new experience.

I am slowly learning what works and doesn't work on this forum. I think this kind of query doesn't work on this forum. It's too bad, because I am quite curious about people's thoughts on this issue.

But sometimes I beat a dead horse :-)

Sorry, Mike, my mention of not playing a trumpet was a bad attempt at humor.
With replay, I thought I answered. When I listen it either moves me or it doesn't. I don't need to mentally masturbate like you do over it.
I don't think you're really curious about what other people think, for you continually attack people you don't agree with, and post whatever the heck comes to you. You'd be better off on facebook. There's real naval gazing going on there.

Sorry you feel that way. I think most people post whatever comes to them. Guess we're not meant for each other. I can't imagine why you bothered to respond to any of my posts. Bye.
