XPS T for NAT01

Posted by: Phil Sparks on 10 December 2003

I'm steadily building myself (and my wallet) up for the loss of my complete system for a little while in the New Year. The Hi Caps and 250s are all getting on for 10 yrs old, the NAXO needs tweaking as it is is still set up for SBLs not the kans I use and the NAT01 is desparately in need of a thorough seeing to.

The tuner must be 15years or more old (chrome bumper jobbie, never serviced), it's display has been gradually getting dimmer and I'm not sure it's sounding as good as it did.

In one of my more idle moments I've been musing about the XPS2-T referred to once or twice here. Now I don't think I could justify £2k+ as well as the cost of the service to the NAT head unit. However does anyone know if it's possible to have an olive XPS tweaked to supply the tuner (as an XPS 1 can be swapped for an XPS 2 logic would say it must be possible). If I could pick up a 2nd hand XPS for £1k or so then it becomes a bit more faesible.
