Why change a publicity system like this when it has been so successful over the last 20 odd years.
This political model has been very successful in many many countries all over the world.
Democracy results in too much change.

The only difference that I can see between US elections and those in Zimbabwe is that in Zimbabwe the vote rigging is slightly more subtle....
