as a resident of Newport Pagnell and an Aston Martin fan, I'm very sad to hear this.

I knew Aston Martin are in a bit of trouble and are thinking of rationalising their production of cars in the town. But to fit Linn Hi Fi in their cars is going beyond the pale.

I don't think I will be buying one of those, also I'd better pop down to the factory with me Naim gear and let them hear real music.

Yours disappointingly

I don't expect their design criteria assumes a max current drain as normal operation, or AM will need hugely beefy alternators to fire the electrical demands of the car.

I wonder who manufactured the head unit and cd changer?

"Head unit: existing part with all processing disabled.
CD changer: existing part."

Oh my goodness....has Linn lost their way?;)

I wish I could get a Naim In-Car for my Lexus, rather than the overblown bass monster that is thier 'Premium Audio; offering.

I can't play Sunn O))) Cds without the rear speakers going for a walk on their own!

Yeah - and surely Linn could have engineered a way to get that fine "cupholder" from the VW Passat advert into the new Bondmobile?

Damn. I saw an image in the newspaper yesterday with Pierce Brosnan posing with Vanquish - blowed if I could find it on the net, so you'll just have to make do with this. Or Mr Petrik, can you find the ellusive image?

PS - imagine my surprise at leasrning the director of the 20th bond movie is New Zealander, Lee Tamahori.

I mentioned this to a mate who said

"Sounds a tad silly to me - especially the super high frequency bit that
nobody can hear, but will have every dog in the neighbourhood transfixed,
and wanting to pee up the side of the bespoke customers shiny new Vanquish?!"

Made me laugh anyway!
