Spotify & Laptop

I am currently having to make do with Spotify Premium via headphones (Denon AH-D7000) through Sony Vaio whilst I have work done on the house and the Hi-Fi is boxed up 
The stream is only at 320 kbps so does it matter that this is running through the souncard in the laptop or would I get big improvement by bypassing it somehow (how?) and then taking into a DAC/headphone amp. I have a Headline/supercap but would need to then unpack the 252 and wonder whether it is really worth it in the meantime? I guess the nDAC is an option as well? Help! Serious withdrawal symptoms.
