Calling all Harbeth Compact 7 owners - Set-Up

Is there anybody out there?

I am auditioning a new pair of compact 7s this weekend. I have them on Epos ST12 stands about a 12 a foot out from the back wall. The stands off spikes for the top or screws. Should I use the spikes or the screws w/blu-tak? How far from the back wall do most people have these set up? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

ive got a pair, 12" is the minimum from rear wall, open fraim stands are best. They are quite unassuming initially, but the music is all there its just that it isnt thrown at you with over emphasised midbands like some. It is truly a neutral speaker.

Spiked open framed stands, tweater at ear level and blu-tack works well. If you get a chance give Alan Shaw at Harbeth UK a ring, he is very enthusiastic and helpful
