After 20 centuries, France has finally found a way to invade England.

I started picking up radio Romania(great amusement to my friends) when i went active.Naim did something to the snaxo which stoped the interference.

Seriously now folks!
This was the subject of the first post I ever put on the forum (sigh). I used to get foreign radio through the system and it always seemed to be during high pressure weather! It lasted for years.
Nobody could really help on here, the problem was not volume dependent so I assumed it was interference downstream of the amps in some way. Unplugging my tuner was no good and fiddling with cables etc at the back of the rack no help.
But finally I sorted it. The problem seemed to be caused by the proximity of the speaker cable to a power lead extension well away from the system as it ran along the edge of the room. When I moved this (accidentally) it dissappeared.
I have no idea why/how this can happen but I'd suggest looking carefully at the speaker cables and any power flex close by. If your problem is different (ie rises in volume with the system) then it must be closer to the source.
I do hope this helps.
