Jools Holland Later tonight

Sounds like a great line up tonight with one of my faves Alela Diane, the wonderful Lyle Lovett, rock demi gods Muse, trendy fashionista Florence with her Machine, Jimmy Cobb (last remaining musician who played on Kind of Blue) and Beth Ditto's visually stunning Gossip

I wish it was on a bit earlier Frown

No definitely didn't seem like a deliberate effect, or a bad audio sync (by which I take it as meaning sound and lips slightly out of phase).

This was the main verse melody where the lead singer was singing a song (ie his voice), and he gave-up singing mid-line (ie no lip movement at all) and dropped the mic away from his mouth, but the sound of the singing of the remainder of the lyric continued, in his voice.

And to be honest, there was something 'not quite right' about the posture/deportment of the supporting musicians.

I recall that at the time it looked so obviously odd that it drew my attention.

Fortunately I don't know the name.

What a poor programme, saved by the Spaghetti Western Orchestra, although that would wear a bit thin quite soon.
Echo and the Bunnymen Ok+
Good to see animal has got a new gig, what a row though, yet another girl with a guitar( and a poor voice).

Where was Chris Rea?

Please someone tell Andy Williams he is a sad old man who can't sing any more.
