I can't see this in the interface, but does anyone know if this machine smart enough to deal with both network adapters (WiFi and wired) at once? It looks like it's not from the settings, but I wondered if anyone has tried this & made it work?

I don't think it's possible.

No-there is only one MAC address for both physical interfaces, and has been discussed before. Your application is?

Sorry - having trouble getting the search here to work effectively.
It all depends how it deals with MAC addresses of course, but it sounds like it may not work. I just have a wired and a wireless network, with different potential sources on each. But it's no biggie - just trying to make the box earn its keep!

Hi Phil
Could you not join the two together and make resources universally available?
If I remember the explanation for having one MAC address for both cards correctly, it was to enable the iRadio tuner to function using the vTuner service. For this to work it is attached to the units MAC address and obviously if your MAC address changed you loss the stations stored for the unit.
I think that was the gist of it, but stand to be corrected.

Peter

That's pretty much exactly the reason Peter...

Sounds reasonable. I could join or bridge the networks, or do something else... lots of ways to skin this cat, thanks.
