Yesterday I heard the single by Polyphonic Spree. They are a 27 piece band from Dallas. It is called Soldier Girl and I think Fierce Panda are putting it out at the end of July.
Sounds like some outerspace collision with a rock band and an orchestra with Julian Cope supplying the drugs.
