Exciting new music played on Jo Whiley shock!

Yesterday I heard the single by Polyphonic Spree. They are a 27 piece band from Dallas. It is called Soldier Girl and I think Fierce Panda are putting it out at the end of July.
Sounds like some outerspace collision with a rock band and an orchestra with Julian Cope supplying the drugs.

Michael,
I'll have to take offence with your posting I'm afraid.
I was at one time Julian Copes Tour Manager when he was in The Teardrop Explodes and I can say with some degree of certainty that he NEVER touched drugs.
Regards,
Paul.

.....Michael didn't say he touched them.
It's true that Julian didn't need drugs - have you read his book?
That Sean Rider - he was a tee totaller too.
