Which artists are you seeing in 2009?

It seems to be that time of year when next years tours are announced. So perhaps a central spot to see who we've missed so far?
Our List so far
Richard Thompson January RFH
Jackson Browne
Aussie Pink Floyd
Ultravox in April
Jean Michel Jarre in May
Porcupine Tree in October

Richard Thompson superb show as usual. I can't think that any else could carry off playing tunes from the last 1000 years. Clever b*stard.
Saw him last night in Cambridge - a brilliant show, very entertaining. Even SWMBO enjoyed it...
Further proof, if it were needed, that Mr Thompson is a superb guitarist and musician. Very funny too!

My tickets for The Eagles of Death Metal arrived yesterday.

Couldn't agree more with the comments about Richard Thompson. We are going to see him at Brighton later this month.
Also got tickets for Tinariwen and Tunng in March and Jeff Beck in June.
And probably the inevitable Hamsters gig as we do one of these at least once a year. Waiting for the regular set though, rather than the Jimi/ZZ one.

Aviv Geffen (Guest - Steven Wilson) at Proud Galleries, London on TUESDAY 27/01/2009 at 19.30
The band will be the full Blackfield line up (with Tomer Z, Seffy Efrati, and Eran Mittelman), but note that while there’s sure to be a few Blackfield songs performed, most of the songs will be from Aviv’s forthcoming debut English language solo album (produced by Trevor Horn).
The setlist:
Black And White
It's Alright
Miss U
October (Aviv and Eran only)
Now Or Never
Once
Berlin
Glow (Aviv on piano and Eran only)
The Forest In My Heart (Aviv starts alone on piano, the rest joins in at the end)
Silence
Where Is My Love*
Blackfield
Pain
The One
The End Of The World
==================
Heroes (Aviv, SW and Eran only)
Cloudy Now (Aviv on lead vocals)
Aviv's new songs came across very well and looking forward to the CD release. The Blackfield songs were of course better recieved and such a thrill to hear them live. The venue was pretty poor though, Cobbled floor and Stables out the back (Artistically recreated as Bars & seating areas
). The venue is in Camden Town and not Charing X
