It seems to be that time of year when next years tours are announced. So perhaps a central spot to see who we've missed so far?
Our List so far

James,
I hope its a good gig.
Paul has been very hit and miss over the last few years.
Stu
No probs Stu. It was excellent. Really good mixture of periods, with Wild Wood done with an interesting 'Silver Machine' vibe, and four encores (though the first one may in fact have just been a quick wee break).
I now know that this was, principally, Wild Wood done a la Portishead re-mix; but it was introduced with an oscillator intro like Silver Machine.

Mat I think you'd better stay home for that period. Otherwise there will be abandonment issues. Not pretty.

Gordon
Gordon - Wednesday November 18th Southbank Centre - Queen Elizabeth Hall. Does sound very good.
Freewheeling grooves and fiery improvisations from John Surman in a special concert to celebrate his 65th Birthday. Surman brings together a stellar bill of international stars for their only European concert together.
The world premiere of Surman's new project Brewster's Rooster, released on ECM in July, sees the great saxophonist/composer return to a fully jazz orientated sound. This Festival special features an exclusive international line-up of guitarist John Abercrombie, powerhouse drummer Jack DeJohnette and bassist Drew Gress, providing a one-off opportunity to hear this group play together. The first half of the concert features Surman's delicately atmospheric solo reeds-and-electronics explorations, and a duet with long-term collaborator, the consummate Norwegian singer Karin Krog.
Line-up:
John Surman - baritone & soprano saxophones
John Abercrombie - guitar
Drew Gress - double bass
Jack DeJehnette - drums
Karin Krog - vocals
Part of the London Jazz Festival in association with BBC Radio 3

I hope they do not try to simulate the actual night at Bush Hall and therefore have some air condioning at this event. I'll wait for the DVD. Enjoy.

Steve,
Richard has anounced (below) an Autumn 'Loud & Rich' North American Tour. In his latest Q&A he indicated this tour MIGHT come to the UK. I hope so and i'm sure it will beat goung to the Comedy Store

"Richard Thompson and Loudon Wainwright III, long time friends and collaborators commence their first ever North American tour together for the 2009 / 2010 season. While they have performed and recorded together intermittently over the years, this will be their first full scale North American tour together. Be prepared for a once in a lifetime concert event when they join forces on the same bill, onstage together and separately."
