NAP 160 - Can it power a 72

Hi there
I wonder if anyone out there knows if I can power a 72 pre-amp from a 160 power amp. The 160 sounds as great as people say, truly very good but I am wondering if I can get away without using Hicap (I know that a Hicap will make a big improvement to sound quality but funds being what they currently are etc. etc.).

Yes you can power a 72 via SNAIC4.
The 160 is a great amp.
Yes the Hi-cap makes a VERY worthwhile upgrade.
If the 160 has not been serviced/recapped that would be worthwhile too. E-mail NAIM with Serial number and they will be able to tell you if they have seen it since manufacture.
