Does anyone know how old a NAC52-Ser# 127210 might be? I am considering purchasing this unit but I heard that the early ones (1990-1) were less good and require updates to bring them into specs matching the newer models.

Sorry to say I have been lurking here for a few days after a long absence from the forum (probably 4 years!) Anyhow seeing this serial made me jump into action as its one more than
my 52. That still sounds superb so I guess the "newer one" is worth auditioning. Best wishes Gary.
