Upgrading help needed

My system is Arcam Alpha 7SE cdp, Nait 5, Castle Isis speakers. Can spend around £600 each on new speakers and cd.
Since putting the Nait in my system it has unbalanced it. Was using Alpha 6 amp, nice smooth sound but poor bass. The Nait improved the bass but silibance, grainy treble and some harshness can be heard now.
Was thinking of 2nd hand Sugden CD21, Roksan Caspian and a pair of PMC TB2 as I auditioned them with the Nait, nice clarity and definition.
Would welcome comments and advice on the above equipment. Oh wires are Chord Cobra and Rumour 4.
