Dragging myself out the hole.

It happens to me once in a while, I get to stage where no matter what I have bought and no matter how much music I have I feel that I have nothing I want to hear, nothing I want to put on. Do you ever get this way?
Anyways I normally find the way ot of this is to go out and find familier music that I don't own and to buy plenty of it.
To that end I purchased a few peices of vinyl and a CD today and its dragging me out that hole.
So here it is and frankly there is not a bad one amoung them (so far I havn't listened to them all yet)
Bowie, David LIVE I don't know what to make of Bowie through this period, through the Ch Ch Changes and such. Its almost like Grease music if you know what I mean. Like he had a really cool red car and would race it in them dodgy water ways in America, only more inteligent (unlike my spelling)
How does one define this area of music, what is it? Kind of punky, but not
Deep Purple, Live in Japan I don't have a single deep purple album and I thought this should be redressed. A little concerned to hear that its a little heavy metal in away, that high pitched ear hurty voice. And no its not like andersons, his was gentle but high pitched. I should say IS.
Jethro Tull, Living In the Past Wow! I found this, it is pristine, I don't know if its recently been pressed but if it its an old record its been locked in a dry cupboard and never been played because its in totally perfect condition and well worth a fiver. What a great album (I knew this already) is this a best of?
frank zappa, tinsel town rebillion I used to have this on a tape somewhere, I couldn't remember if I had it at home so purchased it. Again I swear this has not been played (no ammusing quips please) I played it right through, including the dance off peice and am very pleased at this purchasem although it does suffer the appauling recording procedure that Sheik yer Bootie went through although not quite so compressed.
On the CD Saint Germain, Lounge It would appear to be one of those 'another late night' style albums of mixes of other peoples work. however it has a realy nice indian twist to a lot of music and makes for a really nice down tempo beat well recommended.
Anyhoo attempting to get myself back into the swing of things, anything else to reccomend?
Jethro tull requires a second praising, a really nice album, one of those every one should own just for side four if nothing else.
Also tell me I am not the only one who gets into these little pits of not listening any more, really I do have alot of music, (well for me) but sometimes I just can't be arsed.
