Elivs Costello on his new LP

By now, some of you may have heard rumour of an album called "Momofuku" and wonder what this record is...
Well, the real version is pressed on two pieces of black plastic with a hole in the middle. You may prefer other, more portable, less scratchable, editions that will soon become available for your convenience but this is how it sounds the best: with a needle in a groove, the way the Supreme Being intended it to be…

Yep, I saw this on Musicdirect.
Lp, with a free mp3 download included, & a cd release to follow.
The vinyl will do nicely for me.

I received my copy last week. Pretty decent album and the vinyl was not bad either. I actually bought my copy at cduniverse. It seems thay are doing vinyl now as well.

Just received my vinyl of this through today.
On the first listen, its got that Blood & Chocolate kinda sound, pretty straight forward guitar pop band line up (ie no poncing about with string quartets in the background, etc).
The songs seem strong, but without the obvious 'hits you straight between the eyes' groove of eg Hope you're happy now, etc.
Nice bit of vinyl as well.
Matt.

To explain....
My LP12 is in storage pending buying a new house so my only option is either CD or i-tunes/Squeezebox (powered via i-tunes library). So I can't comment on the new EC because I can't listen to it

Well I just fired up iTunes and pointed it at the Momofuku download and it plays just fine.
Cheers
Rich
PS Sounds shit compared to the vinyl though
