Christmas Cards on Speakers?
Posted by: droodzilla on 24 December 2007
Due to a shortage of mantlepiece and shelf space, I have had to put a couple of Christmas cards on top of my speakers (Spendor S6e's). Will this have an adverse effect on the sound? It could be my imagination, but the treble now sounds more "jingley". Have any forum members experienced similar effects?
Are any speakers designed to work better with Christmas cards on top of them?

If you had a card depicting Christmas Bells it could possibly affect the chiming!

Now you mention it, they do jingle-jangle in the morning.

As a huge concession each of my speakers has one card on top, along with a miniature tree and a Santa sitting with his legs dangling down the grill. No photos to follow - the shame of it would haunt me all year!
Merry Christmas to all my fellow Forumites and their loved ones.
