Adjustment for a Linn tunebox?

What is the right way to adjust the tunebox, is it by ear or?
For best sound.

I guess by ear - because that's the way you should "listen" to any hi fi...

However, I wouldn't want to stick a screwdriver into my own SNAXO - I'd rather leave it to my dealer who at least knows what he's doing. Then I'd use my ears......

Computers are supposed to work on 1's and 0's - in other words "Yes" or "No" - why does mine frequently say "Maybe"?......

Linn crossovers are adjusted with switches, so there is no problem returning to flat. There's nothing to lose but your sanity by having a go.

IME you should configure the crossover as nominally flat, find the optimal position for the speakers and then tweak the crossover. Start with big changes and home in with smaller ones. YMMV but I think treble then bass works for me.
