Pixies reissues/remasters?
Posted by: ErikL on 11 February 2004
I've been shopping for Bossanova to complete my collection, but everyone's out of stock.
Are the Pixies reissuing/remastering their albums soon, and thus not producing anymore of the current versions, or what's the deal?

I bought a replacement copy today from rhythm records in camden town (london) only £6.99.

Well, I must have had a string of bad luck (3 online and physical stores). Now I found one that has it ($10.99).

Ludwig,
If you have a record player and it's not too late, the Pixies LPs are well worth hunting down. For some reason, maybe due to the production, they sound very good.
Pixies fans should give a listen to one of the Mclusky albums ("My Pain and Sadness is more Sad and Painful than Yours", Mclusky do Dallas"). Reminds me of the Pixies in several places.

Yikes.
I bought a mint UK copy of Surfer Rosa at a used record store in Mount Kisco,NY 2 or 3 years ago for $12 if I recall correctly. It seems that people lose sight when bidding on ebay sometimes.
