Do yourself a favour and buy "The Essential Barbra Streisand". It is a 2 CD pack and the quality of the music alone is superb. Also her voice is really something.

A really great CD.

Mick, how was the grub in Quo Vadis? Have you tried St John in Smithfield? I had some extraordinary salt beef there last night.

You can always reley on Quo Vadis for good grub. Never had a bad meal there yet. I think their wine list is a bit pricey, I paid £40.00 for a Rioja, which although good was over priced.

Is St John the place slightly opposite Turnmill Street. If so I have been there and the steak was excellent.

I still rate Rules as the overall best.

St John is futher down St John St, almost on Smithfield market,quite simply the pride of London restaurants. As far as Rules goes, staid but good to see you're not an Ivy man.
