I always enjoy a perusal of Concerto on Utrechtsestraat.(Easiest way to find it- Find yourself in Albert Crypsmarkt and facing away from Central Stn. Turn left and walk to the end of the market. Once there turn left down Van Woustraat) reaching Concerto after 1km or so. This is an unusual shop as people who have frequented it will know. It is a build up of mezzanine levels of one up one down rooms so in no time at all if you try to retarce your steps to some music then...Now where was it? Just a little along the road is a Naim dealer (sorry cant remember the naim name.
I've always found Concerto to be a gem of a shop
who still entertain vinyl, but mostly you are going to find C.D's outside of the fleamarkets (where there is always treasures to be dug up)

Concerto is a must-go! A shop I also rather like is Distortion Records in Westerstraat. There are several other, smaller shops that are also interesting. Try Google. Concerto has the widest choice in music. You can travel the center of Amsterdam easiest on foot. If you have more time in Holland, go to a shop called Plexus in Delft, about an hour from Amsterdam (take the train that goes to Dordrecht) and say hi to Martin from me ;-).
