HPX power supply upgrade

Dear HDX experts.
I'm thinking of an HDX to replace my CDS2.
Could the power supply for the CDS2 be used to improve the performance of the HDX?

I believe the XPS2 is the usual upgrade for the HDX, but I use a CDPS with black Burndy modified to supply the CDS2. Would this still work with an HDX?

"Yes, it can be done;

AS LONG AS it's a later CDPS with all three regulator boards (the infamous 'white spot' version).

We cannot say what the results would be."

Thanks. I'll check my serial number with the Service Dept to make sure I have the "Infamous White Spot" before connecting.
