Slade Alive

Yes, I know, Slade, pop band, beloved by teenyboppers.
But-listen to slade alive and you are in for a surprise-loud and heavy-a true metal band-quite what the teenybopper made of them live !!-expected the hits but got blues covers and other covers and few of the hits. I dismissed them at the time but a friend lent me the original "Slade Alive"-difficult to believe same band. Now it has been released as a doulble Cd with all slade live releases including their "Lazarus" performance at Reading 1980 where they stole the show-includes a 35 sec audience performance of "xmas"!. Well worth purchasing. Play LOUD.
