Can you guys give me your views on the benefits of a 202 over a 112 ?

Thanks

Graham.

I replaced my 112+fc2 with a 202+HC2+PSC within a CDX2,250II and fraim sistem. The difference was a pleasent surprise and more substantive than what I expected as I was considering a 282. It certainly lets the CDX2 show it's colours. I don't want to list the usual adjectives, but really you should listen for yourself.

you didn't mention the rest of the kit it would be a part of

Hi Graham
I would say that between all the Naim pre amps the biggest upgrade is the 112 to 202. Do the demo, you will be pleased with the gain IMO Smile

I've had both.

Substantial difference.

You need the NAPSC on the 202.

I second this. For the relatively small amount of money, the improvement was pretty big.

Have to agree with the others. I have recently done the demo and the 202 let all the recording through (good or bad) whilst the 112 was definitely covering up some detail. When set up properly it produced the goods, whilst the 112 was just 'pleasant'.

No I'm not. Struggle to participate in this one, let alone others. Oh well.
