Gotta believe EC and JM onstage together at some time during that day.

Anybody p/u the Continuum deluxe release with the additional live songs - may have to check that out. Includes: Vultures, Belief, Waiting On The World, Dreaming With A Broken Heart, I Don't Need No Doctor and Gravity live versions from the full band 2007 summer tour.

The "main" disc is "enhanced", will this help for those slightly critical of the original ?
Anybody tried it ?

I'll be curious what you think when you receive it. I have enjoyed the "original" just fine, but then you and Steve have much higher levels of equipment than I - hopefully the newer version will be "more" to your liking, as I know you both enjoy the original as well.

Any chance you will make the Hyde Park EC/JM day on June 28 ?

Sheryl Crows "Detours" cd is excellent also. (If you get it, don't be put put-off by the sound of track 1, when track 2 comes on it is stunningly different).

Yes I have the one with the live tracks. Sorry John, I thought you had that copy because I know you usually get them from the states. But thinking about it - I think we did talk about the cover being slightly different.

The live track DVD is from Webster Hall, NY. Belief, Vultures, The Heart of Life, Bigger Than My Body, Dreaming With a Broken Heart, Gravity, Waiting on the World to Change, In Repair.

It is better than the first EU copy, but John probably got the US disc.

This one sounds OK to me, not in "The Village Sessions" class, but that is excellent and that version of 'Slow Dancing' is superb.

If anyone caught Mayer's Austin City Limits appearance a couple of months ago, you know how smoking powerful his live set can be.

The new/upcoming dvd should be great - all three of JM's "characters" on one disc.

Fred, if you don't already have it, and enjoy his earlier pop stuff and a smaller 4 piece live band, "Any Given Thursday" on cd or dvd is terrific.
