Holiday

I'll miss them like mad, but I put my wife & 3 children on a plane this morning. I've got a flight to catch them up on Friday afternoon, but tonight I'm going to work until around 8.00, get a curry to take home, get a beer from the fridge, turn on the lights and the TV, get on the sofa and veg out. No bathing the kids. No stories to read. No cooking to do. No staying out of the front room until f***ing Eastenders is over (I can't bear dramatised domestic violence). No makeover or property programmes. I'll watch the Syd Barrett documentary from last week and get pissed on cans of beer before going to the music room with a bottle of whisky and playing music really really loud all night (neighbours on holiday too ). I might even take tomorrow off to play all day on the X-Box.
Al Bundy can only dream of this.
