An al*** worth having for the cover alone...

Having already exceeded my quota of three on the 'Three Live Albums' thread, I though this one's worth having for the cover alone! And surely there are plenty more...?!

Dean's words and Munch's SAHB covers put me in mind of the most fantastic album cover:

It opens up in several different directions into a complete comic book story. Just to sell a record. Amazing.

Album covers is easy! Just go to Amazon, find & select details of album in question, click on "View Larger image", right click on photo & then left click "Copy location".

Open post, select icon of picture on top line (last but one on right) & paste link. Hey presto!

If you wish to post your own photos you've first got to upload them into a photo hosting site (Photobucket's good) & copy location from there.

Always liked this one, but the contents are great as well.

This has been on the back of many a leather jacket, I just have the t-shirt version

Interesting to see how popular intricate and decorative designs are on this thread.

As someone who studied graphic design under a big influence of modernism, simplicity is what I find most inspiring.

Pink Floyd 'Atom Heart Mother' design by Hipgnosis, remains my favourite all time album artwork.

The fact that the exposure was not fast enough, and leaves the slight imperfection of the tail being slightly blurred, gives this a tiny bit of extra character, that adds the final touch for me.

The first Killing Joke artwork is pretty strong too.
