An al*** worth having for the cover alone...

Having already exceeded my quota of three on the 'Three Live Albums' thread, I though this one's worth having for the cover alone! And surely there are plenty more...?!

I second Tubes first LP.
When I saw it at the record store the first time in 1975 I actually, for a second or two, was fooled by the broken cover!
Great music to!

The original New Order - Blue Monday 12" sleeve.
Allegedly cost more to manufacture than the price it was sold at and I think worth a bit nowadays.

I agree with biggy, but needs to be ... er ... big!

Good call nap-ster!
Over the years Cocteau Twins have consistantly used brilliant cover art IMHO!

Any number of ECM disc covers, but I am quite partial to this one from the naive Vivaldi series

It would but I couldn't find the whole picture.

Talking of the whole picture, Munch's posts reminded me of ...
... finally perhaps the best of the worst ...

as a teen in CA I always wondered about that Who cover. A concrete monolith in the middle of a rocky barren area?

another favorite for music and art.
my niece thought it was creepy, but liked the music, my sister and her husband laughed because Amy and Laura had never seen a turntable or knew how they worked. she came back last summer for graduation present for museums and see the city. A couple times I was pooped and just pulled out vinyl. She thought it had a better sound than an iPod... oh dear.

Ouch!!
Thnnaks for that Winky. You've given me nightmares now.
Reminds me of a comment made by Churchill of, I think Lady Astor. "She makes you want to burn all the beds in the world"
